Hello and welcome to the fifth grade!  I am so excited to start this new year.  There are so many fun things we will learn in fifth grade.  I aim to have my students have as much of a hands on experience as I can and we will be doing a lot of creating which is the highest level of thinking.

As a teacher, I really plan around each child to make sure that they have a personalized experience at school and that they are learning in a way that best suits their mindset.

Just a little bit about me personally.  I have a husband and two daughters.  My kids are 18 and 9.  Kylie will be off to start her Freshman year at the University of Northern Colorado to study physical therapy.  My younger daughter, Ireland, attends Prairie Crossing and will be in fourth grade this year.  Our family is completed by a Boxer named Peyton.  (Of course my husband named her after Peyton Manning).  I am a huge Packers fan, but I also like to read, ski, get fit at 9Round Boxing, and spend as much time as I can with my family.
