Hello! My name is Carrie Brown and I am so excited to be your child’s teacher this year! Let me share a little bit about myself. This will mark my 23rd year of teaching! While living in New York, I received my Bachelor’s of Education at Buffalo State College and Master’s in Special Education at LeMoyne College. I started out my career teaching 4th Grade in Baldwinsville, New York. From there, I moved to Santa Monica, California and taught
1st Grade for over seven years.

My final stop had me trading in the beautiful ocean views and beaches of Southern California for the majestic mountain views in Colorado. I spent five years teaching both 1st and 3rd Grade in the Cherry Creek School District. I simply loved being there. However, I could not pass up an opportunity to teach at my neighborhood school at Prairie Crossing. Parker is a wonderful place to live, raise a family, and educate your child.

I have enjoyed living in this wonderful, scenic state with my husband Abe and ten year old beautiful twins, Connor and Addison. I just love being a mom and that naturally transfers over to the classroom. It is my goal that every child feels loved, safe and secure in their school, just as they do at home. I am excited to help your child on their educational and social journey!
