Tara Liedell

Welcome to First Grade

Mrs. Liedell! Tara Liedell
2021 Welcome Video

Hello!  My name is Tara Liedell and I’m so excited to be your child’s 1st grade teacher this year!  This will be my third year at Prairie Crossing, but this will be my 23rd year in education. Before coming to PCE, I taught Kindergarten here in Parker for 10 years.  Before that, I taught 1st and 2nd grades in Denver for 10 years.
I am a Colorado native and attended the University of Colorado in Boulder.  Currently, I live here in Parker with my husband Craig and my three kids, Hannah (19), Paige (16) and Jake (14).  I stay busy juggling the various events with my kids and spending time in our community.  I also love snowboarding in our beautiful mountains and walking my golden retriever (and sidekick) Dexter. My love of teaching is evident to anyone who walks in my classroom.  I couldn’t imagine doing anything else. I promise to do everything in my power to make sure your child feels safe, engaged and loved. My ultimate goal is to make your kids excited to come to school and grow to love learning.  Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions or just to introduce yourselves and your child to me. I can’t wait to get to know them!
