Tara Liedell

Welcome to First Grade

Mrs. Liedell! Tara Liedell Hello!  My name is Tara Liedell and I’m so excited to be your child’s 1st grade teacher this year!  I am new to Prairie Crossing, but this will be my 20th year in education. I have been teaching Kindergarten here in Parker for the last 10 years.  Before that, I taught 1st and 2nd grades in Denver for 9 years. I’m thrilled to call PCE my new home! I am a Colorado native and attended the University of Colorado in Boulder.  Currently, I live here in Parker with my husband Craig and my three kids, Hannah (17), Paige (14) and Jake (12).  I stay busy watching the kids play soccer, basketball, swim, do karate and whatever else they decide to give a try.  I also love snowboarding in our beautiful mountains and walking my golden retriever (and sidekick) Dexter. My love of teaching is evident to anyone who walks in my classroom.  I couldn’t imagine doing anything else. My ultimate goal is to make your kids excited to come to school and grow to love learning.  Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions or just to introduce yourselves and your child to me. I can’t wait to get to know them!
