Instructional Support

My name is Jacque Aspeslagh and I feel so lucky to be the Math Interventionist at Prairie Crossing! Born and raised in Colorado, I graduated from the University of Northern Colorado in 2005 with my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and started my teaching career in Douglas County that same year. I completed my Master's Degree in Elementary Reading and Math in 2010. I have 19 years of teaching experience in grades k-2 and am looking forward to another great year!

My family includes my husband, our little girl Callie (4) and our little dude Lincoln (2). We also have 2 dogs, Monster and Razzy, that we love very much.

Some of my favorite things are coffee dates, listing to music (I love Mat Kearney), reading, flowers, swimming, and anything pink and glittery.

I can't wait to meet all of you and start a fun filled year together.

I have taught at PCE since 2018, and work to support our Multilingual Learners both in their classrooms and in small groups. I work on developing students' listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills, while reinforcing learning that is happening within their classrooms.

My husband Erick and I live in Centennial with our two boys. Our oldest, Keegan is a junior at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, majoring in History with a minor in Political Science. Our youngest, Ashton, is a freshman at Smoky Hill High School in Cherry Creek School District. He participates in theater, plays the violin, and plays hockey. We also have two rescue dogs, Cooper and Georgia, as well as a Bearded Dragon named Cocoa.

I am excited to be back at Prairie Crossing for my 5th year as your Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).

I graduated with my Master's degree in speech-language pathology from University of Northern Colorado, but before that, I worked as an SLPA in Colorado Springs. Before that…. I have been and done a number of different things, like a scenic and costume designer in San Francisco, a ballet teacher, an actor, and a wedding florist.

Speech and language is such a diverse and incredible field, which is why I love it! In Speech therapy we will be working on, not just, how we say sounds or how we form sentences but also how we use language to think about the word, organize and understand events in our lives, and solve problems. Because we use speech and language everywhere, every day, in every way, you may find me; in classrooms, on the playground, in gym or art class, or having lunch with the students.
