Pratibha Soni

I am a Special Education Teacher - Affective Needs at Prairie Crossing Elementary School.

I received my Bachelor’s of Arts and Bachelor’s of Education from India. After that, I have completed a Master's program in English Literature from India too. Currently, I am pursuing a Master's program from University of Northern Colorado to enhance my learning experiences in Special Education. I have worked with the Special Education team for 2 years in Douglas County School District and one year in Harrison School District 2. My experiences with public school setting emphasize me for learning further and support my students for their individual progress. I loved working with my students throughout my experiences and supporting them with individualized plans. My goal of life is to serve the special Education department with my learning experiences and do my best to contribute.

I have a family with 2 boys and a husband. My kids attend the school in Douglas county only where one is 7 years old and the other one is 10 years old. We arrived in the USA in 2007 and lived in Colorado for 4 years. We loved Colorado and wanted to live here forever. My hobbies are reading books and playing Volleyball. I love nature and would like to spend time with my family.
