About Me

Dear Students and Parents,

I am looking forward to another great school year at PCE!

I am originally from New Jersey but have lived all over the states, as well as abroad. In 2015 I moved to Colorado and have loved every minute of my time here. I have two daughters, Adalyn and Emerson, who keep me very busy! I enjoy exploring Colorado, being outside, and spending time with my family and friends.

I received my Masters in Education in New York City in 2011 and have been teaching ever since. I began my teaching career teaching English in South Korea, and after moving back to the states I taught 6th and 4th grade in South Carolina. I moved to Parker in 2018 and have really enjoyed teaching in Douglas County! I absolutely love teaching and working with children and feel extremely lucky to be in this profession.

Special Events

Please check your email weekly for news about special events or classroom happenings.

Water Bottles

Kids may bring water bottles to class, however, they must contain water. No other types of liquid are permitted. The cap must be fitted tightly so that if the bottle falls over it does not spill.

Snacks

Students may bring a morning snack to eat.

Homework

Students are asked to read for 15-20 minutes each evening. Additionally, students will have math homework every night. Other homework is only assigned if required classwork assignments are not completed during class time.

About Me

I am originally from Madison, a small town in eastern South Dakota. After high school, I moved out to the beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota for my college education at Black Hills State University. When I am not at school I enjoy participating in a variety of activities. One of my favorite things to do is to play Ultimate Frisbee. I meet with a group of other players on Saturday mornings to partake in some friendly competition. I also love to play video games and I always enjoy talking about my love of video games with my students. I take pride in waving my “nerd” flag.

Since we are team teaching this year, we ask that you contact the subject area teacher regarding questions and concerns for that class since it may not be your child’s homeroom teacher. This way, your questions and concerns can be specifically addressed.
