Welcome to the new school year!

I am excited to continue as the Wellness Specials teacher, where I help students through guiding and teaching about making healthy life choices.  Whether that be discussing their emotions, their interactions with others, positive choice making and the impacts that can have for them, or even how to handle some of the “hard” things that friendships and their days can bring.  We also talk about the balance of mindful moments for them to take, food choices and movement.

Through the school year I am supported by my wonderful family. My husband Gary, who works for the town of Parker as a signal technician and my three wonderful children that are now working to find their own pathway in life. My oldest daughter Kaela, who is starting her own family, my second daughter, Alyson, who is a teacher of 2nd grade in TN and my son, Neal, who is serving in the Army.

In my time away from school I enjoy spending time with friends and family enjoying activities of hiking, kayaking or some backyard playing. I enjoy walking and find that it is a good way to process my day or relax to be ready for what may be coming next. When I have time for myself, usually on my school breaks, I really enjoy reading books!

I am looking forward to continue getting to know the students and families of PCE.  If at any time you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to contact me at my school email address:  [email protected].
