I began my teaching career teaching middle school 6th, 7th, and 8th grade. I have been a teacher at Prairie Crossing since 2006 and have taught 3rd, 5th, and 6th at PCE. For me, 6th grade is the sweet spot - I love watching my students grow into amazing people ready to take the next steps in their education as middle schoolers. My goal as an educator is to help students to come into their abilities and grow in independence. When not teaching, I enjoy spending time hiking or playing frisbee with my dog Koda. I also love to read and I'm nearly always in the middle of a book!
