Meet the Staff
The Prairie Crossing BASE Staff all come from various backgrounds and experiences. Together, we create a unique environment with many ways to integrate our teachings and learnings into the lives of all of the students we come in contact with. We are child-oriented and strive to connect in individual ways to help each child develop and grow their foundations. We work as a whole to bring the best to your family each and every day!
Sheri Hernandez, BASE Manager
Sheri has been the PCE BASE Manager for the past 24 years since the school opened. She loves kids and being a part of their education and development! Sheri enjoys spending time with her two dogs (even though the puppy sometimes acts like a destructive dinosaur) and she loves hockey!
Dana Winslow, BASE Assistant Manager
Dana has been the Assistant BASE Manager for the past 22 years. Dana enjoys being creative with the kids and teaching them new and fun things! Dana loves spending time her boys and loves sports!
Mrs. Charise, Program Leader
Charise has been a Program Leader for 6 years. She works in the front office also. Charise loves spending time with her family and watching her daughter play sports.
Ms. Alexis, Program Leader
Alexis joined PCE BASE in July 2021. She is a sophomore at Arapahoe Community College studying to be and Elementary School Teacher.
Ms. Catalina, Program Leader
Catalina joined PCE BASE in July 2022. She is currently a Freshman at UCCS.
Ms. Ciarra, Program Leader
Ciarra joined PCE BASE in July 2022. She is currently a Freshman at Legend High School. She enjoys playing volleyball.
Ms. Lila, Program Aide
Lila has been a Program Aide at PCE BASE since March 2023. She is currently a Senior at Chaparral and enjoys technical theater and ceramics.
Ms. Sarah, Program Leader
Ms. Sarah has been a Program Leader at PCE BASE August 2023 also works in the classroom.
