Ashley DuBois

Dear Students and Parents,

My name is Ashley DuBois, and I am the newest addition to the 5th grade team at Prairie Crossing Elementary School.  I am thrilled to join the team and look forward to an amazing 2019-20 school year at PCE!

I am originally from New Jersey but have lived all over the states, as well as abroad.  I moved to Colorado four years ago and have loved every minute of my time here. I am so happy to call Colorado my home and have truly found my happy place.  My husband and I spent this past summer enjoying time with our daughter and welcomed a new fur baby into our home!

I received my Masters in Education in New York City in 2011 and have been teaching ever since.  I began my teaching career teaching English in South Korea, and after moving back to the states I taught 6th and 4th grade in South Carolina. I moved to Parker last year and have really enjoyed teaching in Douglas County! I absolutely love teaching and working with children and feel extremely lucky to be in this profession.

On Tuesday, August 6th students will be able to drop off their school supplies, see their new classroom and meet me between 3:30 and 5:30pm.  The official first day of school is Wednesday, August 7th! We will no longer have a flag ceremony outside the school in the morning. Please say goodbye to your kiddo at the front door or take them to our class.

Before school begins please complete Express Check-In.  Express Check-In has information on fees, transportation, volunteering and nutrition services.  Please click on the link below to complete Express Check-In:

I am looking forward to meeting you all come August and hope that you have a wonderful and safe summer!
