Hello!  My name is Emily Oerter and I will be teaching second grade at Prairie Crossing Elementary.  I am so excited to get to meet you and your child. I was born and raised in Holdrege, Nebraska.  This will be my fourteenth year of teaching. I have experience teaching 1st, 2nd, 5th, and K-6 English as a Second Language.  My credentials include a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education and an endorsement in English as a Second Language.   This summer I also completed my Principal's License and master's degree in Educational Leadership.  I love joking around with the kids and making learning fun!  In my spare time, I enjoy hiking, going to the gym, reading, and spending time with my family and friends. I’m thrilled and look forward to working with your child this year.
