Homework- It is very important for your child to be reading every night. Please make sure to have them read at least 10 minutes every evening. They can even login to Raz-Kids to complete their nightly reading! I do NOT send home books from the classroom, unless specifically arranged. Please contact me if this is something your family would be interested in.
Your child will have ten spelling words a week. They will need to learn how to read and spell these words. There will be a spelling quiz every Friday. Practicing their spelling words CAN count towards their reading time.
Math homework will be sent home in the weekly updates email, and will be due back on Friday mornings. The math packet will be practice from material we are covering in the classroom. If you need a hard copy of the homework sent home on Monday evenings, please let me know.
