I am so excited that my role as a technology teacher has shifted to a S.T.E.A.M. co-teacher! Teachers schedule time with me based on when they are ready to integrate S.T.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) into their content areas throughout the school year. All classroom teachers participate in this model. The length of time I work with a class is determined by the project they are working on. It could be three days or two weeks. Teachers plan and teach with me. This co-teaching model allows students to benefit from having two teachers in the room and teachers gain valuable and necessary technology skills alongside their students.
